We aim to deliver a quality, family orientated oral health service in a relaxed atmosphere. We have an experienced, compassionate team, who aim to give you a healthy beautiful smile.
We have an award winning team of clinicians with both general dental and specialist backgrounds to care for you and your family. We are members of the New Zealand Dental Association.

We all are residents of the Mangawhai area, a family business and we love to support our local community.

OUR CLINICIANS
Dr Ellen Clark
General Dentist and Specialist Community Dentist
Ellen has worked for the Northland District Health Board (NDHB) for the last 15 years as a Community Dentist and was the Clinical Director from 2015-2021. She gained her public health specialist degree (with distinction) from Otago University in 2017. She purchased Mangawhai Dental in early 2019. She is involved in a variety of health services research and clinical projects. She became a member of the New Zealand Dental Association Board in 2018. She lives in Mangawhai with her two children, and husband Adrian.
Dr Ronnie Colle
General Dentist
Ronnie studied in Pretoria, South Africa and received his Bachelor’s in Dentistry in 1983. Ronnie has completed a two year post graduate course in Progressive Orthodontic Systems, in Sydney, Australia. He also has a passion for restorative dentistry. He is registered with the Dental Council of NZ and is a proud member of the NZ Dental Association. Ronnie lives with his wife in Mangawhai.
Dr Vicki Chan
General Dentist
Vicki graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Otago in 1994.
Vicki combines her gentle nature and warm personality with technical skills to our team. She is passionate about Dentistry and takes a particular interest in cosmetic and minimally invasive dentistry. Vicki is an excellent communicator, she takes care in explaining necessary treatment, what the process involves and how to prevent dental decay.
Ms Thais Meirelles
Hygienist/ Oral Health Therapist

Thais received a Bachelor of Oral Health at Auckland University of Technology, and has worked in both the private and public sector. She has three children and is an active part of the community. Before Thais decided on a career change, she worked in early childhood care. She is passionate about oral health and believes its education through generations is paramount to improve oral health in general in Aotearoa.
Mrs Ellen Johnson
Hygienist/Oral Health Therapist
Ellen lives in Mangawhai Heads with her husband & two young children. She graduated from AUT in December 2014 with a Bachelor of Health Science in Oral Health. She started her career working for the school dental service in South Auckland. Following this, she worked in private practice focusing on dental hygiene, in both Royal Oak and Auckland CBD. She is very passionate about oral health education and puts it into practice with all my patients, to help them understand and achieve great oral health.
Mrs Amie Wintle
Clinical Dental Technician
Amie lives in Mangawhai with her husband and two children, she has worked in the dental industry for over 25 years. Since graduating from Otago with distinction as a Clinical Dental Technician in 2001, she has enjoyed seeing patients of all ages and all walks of life and is passionate about promoting good oral health in the community. Amie creates full dentures and removeable partial dentures on site at Mangawhai Dental.
